An early 1800's French cotton block print. Repeat stylized blossom and leaf design in red, pink, blue and whtie against a dark beige colored background.

Condition
 
Heavily distressed with large and small holes as well as thin areas. Some light soiling which may come up with a deeper cleaning if desired. Colors are still strong and consistant.   
 
The fabric has been given a cold water soak to remove dust and dirst and then a light light laundering using those famous Marseille soaps without bleaching agents. 
 
It is our aim to preserve and protect the orginal colors of the fabric since many of our fabrics are being currently reproduced.
