An early 1800's French block print. Possible late 1700's. Large panel.  Finely woven cotton. Depicts eggplant/cucumber shaped motifs with leaves and small florals. Beautiful shades of purple and white. Reminds me of the purple toile du jouys from the same period.  Photos are a good representation of actual color and condition.

Condition
 
Very good condition with only a couple of tiny holes which can be seen when held up to the light. There are some larger holes right at the edges. Most of the fabric very useable. The fabric was light quilted at one time so you might see some light trace lines but nothing I find distracting. The fabric has been laundered using those famous Marseille soaps with no bleaching agents. Threads are good and strong.
