An early to mid 1800's French cotton block print border. Cotton.  Across the middle depicting swags of florals, leaves and wheat stock with hanging ribbons and ornate tassels. Inidienne design Borders with small florals and leaves wrapped around what looks like a stylized ribbon or rope. 
 
Stunning color combinations in natural reds, brown, pink, light blue and mustard against a white background.

Left in as found condition. 
 
Distressed with many large and small holes throughout and some missing pieces. Pieces of the border have separated especially at one side.  No stains. Colors are good, strong and consistant. Fabric has not been laundered but has a clean appearance.
