A late 1800's French cotton print fabric. Slight indienne/oriental look with alternating motifs of florals and leaves on crooked branches with long stems of bamboo. Colors are shades of red, black and a bit of yellow against a light beige background.

From top to bottom 
 
46 cm  along left side top to bottom  and 36 cm at the other side top to bottom. Fabric has an uneven bottom edge. 
 
The width is 
 
1 meter 24 cm 
 
*actually two pieces of the same fabric seamed together with a seam running from top to bottom. Seam is 84 cm in from one side. 
 
There is a small hem that runs along the top edge. 

Condition
 
Colors are good strong and even. 
 
No holes or damage. A couple of darker age spots just right to the seam. A couple tiny age spots towards the top edge.  For the rest in good clean looking condition 
 
The fabric has been giving a long cold water soak to remove dust and dirt and then a cold water wash using those famous Marseille soaps without bleaching agents. 
 
It is our aim to preserve and protect the orginal colors of the fabric since many of our fabrics are being currently reproduced.
