A late 18th century French quilt fragment. Cotton. Oberkampf. 
 
Front: Pattern "les batons rompus" intricate pattern of small stylized florals and leaves in shades of pink, lavender, green, bluish grey and creme against a golden olive back. 
 
Back: probably also Oberakmpf with lines of small circles and oval shaped medallions of petite florals in lavender.

Condition
 
Front: good no damage but does have a stain at one corner. 
 
Back: very good with only some small holes at one edge. 
 
The fragment has been left in "as found" condition.
