A late 18th century French quilt fragment. Cotton. Oberkampf. 
 
Front: Pattern "les batons rompus" intricate pattern of small stylized florals and leaves in shades of pink, lavender, green, bluish grey and creme against a golden olive back. 
 
Back: probably also Oberakmpf with lines of small circles and oval shaped medallions of petite florals in lavender.

Condition
 
Front: some heavier wear and a larger hole in fabric along one side.   
 
Back: has some wear and small holes down one side and you can see two larger holes one at one end and one at the opposite end. 
 
The fragment has been left in "as found" condition.
