An early 1900's French postal sack. Heavy linen. Stamped inscription on both sides "postes France" with the number 7 at the bottom. A thick twine rope has been sewn into the top edge. Natural linen color

Condition

 

Somewhat distressed with several holes on one side and several holes an old crude repairs on the other side. On one side the inscription at the bottom has dissapeared for the most part and there some dark stains in and around the top that extend downwards midway. Some areas of fading here and there. 

 

Good size sections without damage. Great piece for upscaling interior projects. 

 

Left in "as found" condition. Has an overall clean appearance but you may want to give it a wash before using.
