An early 1900's French duvet cover. I always love it when I find pieces like this that have been combined with several different fabrics. One one side the predominat fabric is a blue and white cotton plaid. On the other side a heavier striped fabric in pale blue and white that I believe is a linen/cottton combination. At the top of the duvet two other cotton plaids have been added. One in blue and white and ther other in shades of blue and white with a red accent. Linen ties along the bottom for closure. Perfect for upscaling.
Photos are a good representation of actual color and condition..
Measurements

Condtion
Left in "as found" condition.
The cover has a very clean appeance and no obvious stains but does have a couple of tiny age spots. Nothing major. There is a patch at one side and a crude looking L shaped repair at the top edge. One little add on fabric has come loose and could be cut and removed or stitched back into place.
Colors are good strong and even.
