A 19th century French block/roll print. Cotton. Repeating block/roll print design of large leaves and flroals that alternate with rows of small florals and leaves on a branch. Colros are madder red, reddish brown, pale yellow and white against an indigo blue background.

Condition
Overall very good condition with strong even colors. Quilted at one time so you will see light traces of quilt lines. One L shaped small cut at the bottom and a couple of tiny holes but nothing major. No stains.
The fabric has been given a cold water soak to remove dust and dirst and then a light light laundering using those famous Marseille soaps without bleaching agents.
It is our aim to preserve and protect the orginal colors of the fabric since many of our fabrics are being currently reproduced.
