Distressed 19th century French cotton block print fabric. Possible a provencal scarf at one time. Pretty design of stylized blossoms with long vines of florals and leaves in between. Dark terracotta color against a light beige background. 
 
Probably a full repeat but there are many pieces.

Condition
 
Heavily distressed with many large and small holes throughout as well as many thin areas. Terracotta colors are strong and consistant. Background color still shows some slight discoloration due to age and use which may come up with a deeper cleaning if desired. 
 
The fabric has been given a cold water soak to remove dust and dirst and then a light light laundering using those famous Marseille soaps without bleaching agents. 
 
It is our aim to preserve and protect the orginal colors of the fabric since many of our fabrics are being currently reproduced.
