Measurements

From top to bottom

94 cm

The width is

45 cm across (still shows the selvage at the right hand side)

*actually two pieces of the same fabric hand stitched together with a strip  at the bottom. Seam runs across the width.

Condition

Heavily distressed with many large and small holes, splits throughout and and many thin areas throughout. Colors are good and consistant. Background still shows some variation in color due to age and use. Quilted at one time so you will see traces of quilt lines.

The fabric has been given a cold water soak to remove dust and dirst and then a light light laundering using those famous Marseille soaps without bleaching agents.

It is our aim to preserve and protect the orginal colors of the fabric since many of our fabrics are being currently reproduced.
