A 19th century French cotton block print fabric. Repeat abstract geometic shaped motifs in natural red, aubergine, white and light blue against a beige colored backaground.

Condition
 
Somewhat distressed with a large split at one end, several small splits and some small holes. Colors are good, strong and consistant. No stains. 
 
The fabric has been given a cold water soak to remove dust and dirst and then a light light laundering using those famous Marseille soaps without bleaching agents. 
 
It is our aim to preserve and protect the orginal colors of the fabric since many of our fabrics are being currently reproduced.
