A late 1800's French cotton ikat. Blue & white in color. Light in weight. Perfect for soft furnishings. Fabric is good and strong.

40 cm but varies slightly at the right hand side (still has selvage at one side)
 
Condition
 
A patch of small pinhead holes down to the center and a thin spot at the left hand edge. Two small holes at bottom edge. One tiny rust spot.
 
Colors are strong and consistant. No stains other than the tiny rust spot mentioned above.
 
The fabric has been a long cold water soak to remove dust and dirt, rinsed thoroughly and then lightly laundered using those famous Marseille soaps without bleaching agents
 
We like to deliver a clean and pressed product when possible but take care to preserve the color and integretity of the fabric.
