A 19th century French ikat. Cotton. Blue & white in color.

Condition
 
One half of the fabric shows some larger and small holes. The other half is in better condition with only a couple of tiny holes. No stains. Colors are good strong and consistant. 
 
The fabric has been given a cold water soak to remove dust and dirst and then a light light laundering using those famous Marseille soaps without bleaching agents. 
 
It is our aim to preserve and protect the orginal colors of the fabric since many of our fabrics are being currently reproduced.
