Measurements

89 cm from top to bottom

The width is

47 cm wide

*actually two pieces of the same fabric hand seamed together with a smaller strip running from top to bottom at one side. Original selvages can be seen where the pieces are seamed together.

Condition

Several small pinholes and a couple of smaller holes. A tear at the seams. One side of the fabric has heavier damage at the side. Many good small areas without damage.

No stains. Colors are good and consistant.

Still shows some slight variation in color which would probably lift with a deeper cleaning if desired.

The fabric has been given a long cold water soak to remove dust and dirt and then lightly laundered in cold water using those famous Marseille soaps without bleaching agents.

It is our aim to deliver a clean and pressed product when possible. We take care to preserve the color and integretity of the fabric since many of our fabrics our used for reproduction.
