A 19th century French cotton print fabric. Abstract florals and leaves with geometric shape. Colors are natural red and white with a sage green (almost grey).

85 cm wide (still has the selvage at both sides).
 
*please note actually two pieces of the same fabric hand seamed together with a 15 cm wide piece sewn at one end and crosses the width. 
 
Condition
 
Lightly quilted at one time so you will see very light traces of quilt lines. 
 
One larger hole towards the top and a couple of smaller holes. Several holes along one selvage side but most of the fabric in very good condition and useable. No obvious stains. 
 
 Colors have evenly lightened over time and original colors can be seen at the selvage. 
 
The fabric has been given a very long cold water soak to remove dust and dirt and then a gentle wash in cold water with those famous Marseille soaps without bleaching agents. 
 
It is our aim to deliver and clean and pressed product when possible but take great care to preserve the original color and the integretity of the fabric.
