A 19th centuryt French cotton print fabric. Depicting birds, florals and leafy branches. Colors are shades of tangerine, yellow and black against a light creme background.

Condition
 
Quilted at one time so you will see traces of quilt lines.
 
Group of small holes at the center of the fabric. 
 
The fabric has been given a long cold water soak to remove dust and dirt and then a cold water wash in those famous Marseill soaps without bleaching agents.
 
Still shows some aging in background color and some light stains along the right hand side of the fabric which would probably lift with a deeper cleaning if desired.
 
We like to deliver a clean and pressed product when possible but take care ro preserve the original color and integretity of the fabric.
