A late 19th century French cotton print fabric. Depicting birds and florals in white against a red background.

Condition
 
Lightly quilted at one time so you will see very light traces of quilt lines. 
 
The majority of the fabric is in good useable condition. 
 
Group of small holes at the upper left hand corner at the edge. A split and small holes down left hand side edge. Two hole just up from the center of the fabric. Bottom half is in very good condition with only a tiny spot of some marks and a hole and some thinning alng the bottom edge. 
 
 Colors are good and consistant for the most part but background red color does show some slight variations due to age and quilt but has an even look. 
 
The fabric has been given a very long cold water soak to remove dust and dirt and then a gentle wash in cold water with those famous Marseille soaps without bleaching agents. 
 
It is our aim to deliver and clean and pressed product when possible but take great care to preserve the original color and the integretity of the fabric.
