Two pieces of 19th century French cotton fabric. Repeating diamond design in 
shades of purple to lavender with a bit of white. 
 
Photos are a good representation of actual color and condition. 

Measurements
 
One piece
 
37 x 19 cm  (Actually two pieces of the same fabric  hand stitched together with a seam that runs in the length. One piece is just a narrow strip at the side). 
 
The other piece 
 
27 x 16 cm 

Condition
 
Both pieces show small holes and thin areas and some splits at the egdges. 
 
Quilted at one time so you will see traces of quilt lines and some slight variation in background color due to quilting and exposure. 
 
Colors are still strong and consistant for the most part. 
 
The fabric has been given a cold water soak to remove dust and dirst and then a light light laundering using those famous Marseille soaps without bleaching agents. 
 
It is our aim to preserve and protect the orginal colors of the fabric since many of our fabrics are being currently reproduced.
