A 19th century French cotton print fabric. Repeating zig zag design in shades of brown, creme and natural red.

1 meter x 21 cm 
 
*actually three pieces of the same fabric hand seamed together with a smaller piece at each end. 

Condition
 
Distresssed with a larger hole at one end and several smaller holes and thin areas here and there throughout. 
 
Some variation in color with some faded areas. 
 
The fabric has been given a long cold water soak to remove dust and dirt and then lightly laundered in cold water using those famous Marseille soaps without bleaching agents. 
 
It is our aim to deliver a clean and pressed product when possible. We take care to preserve the color and integretity of the fabric since many of our fabrics our used for reproduction.
