Rich look to this beautifully hand stitched 19th century French quilt. Cotton. Groups of florals and leaves in white against a red background. Backed with a gold colored cotton.

Condition
 
Very good. Fabrics both front and back have a very clean look with no damage or stains. The only thing to note is on the back you will see some small areas where traces of the batting can be seen. I believe this has happened during the quilting process and can easily be removed. Nothing major. At one side edge there is a small section that has come unstitched and at the same side edge a hand repair. Again, nothing major.
