A 19th century French quilt. All hand stitched.
One side: Cotton. Depicts large florals and leaf design in shades of red and white.
Other side. Silk. Depicts alternating stripes of brown with blue moire.
Thin layer of batting between the fabrics.
As with most of the quilts from this period the fabrics are several panels that have been hand seamed together and usually the panels are between 80 to 90 cm wide if they are from selvage to selvage.
Photos are a good indication of color and condition.

Condition
Left in "as found" condition.
Overalll good condition with a clean appeaance the only thing to note is:
At one corner edge one tiny small stain. At one side anoher tiny small stain but nothing major.
Colors are strong, good and consistant.
I didn't discover any holes.
