Striking colors in this 19th century French cotton roll print fabric. Bands of ombre colors from shades of burgundy, to shades of red to shades of pink. Almost has a zebra like look to it. 
 
Full repeat but missing pieces.

Condition
 
Distressed with one large tear at one side and many holes throughout as well as thin areas. Heavily quilted at one time so you will see traces of quilt lines and some variation in color due to quiliting and age. 
 
The fabric has been given a cold water soak to remove dust and dirst and then a light light laundering using those famous Marseille soaps without bleaching agents. 
 
It is our aim to preserve and protect the orginal colors of the fabric since many of our fabrics are being currently reproduced.
