A large lot of 19th century French gold metallic trims. All pieces have a repeating triangle shaped pattern. Gold metallic threads are woven into a goldish linen base. All saved from an old chasuble.

There are 5 pieces which have a straight edge along both sides and measure

One piece has a straight edge along the top and a shallow scallop along the bottom. It measures

Condition
 
These trims are made with wider flat threads which tend to become brittle over time and break.
 
All pieces in used condition. There are areas on all pieces where the gold metallic threads have worn or missing due to age and use. One of the wider pieces has developed a dark area of patina. 
 
If your looking for a trim that will go  with old textiles and your trying to achieve an "old world" look this is a nice lot.
