A lot of 5 pieces of 19th century French cottons. All pieces in various shades of indigo blue. Nice variety in this lot with a tiny plaid, a tiny stripe and some solids.

Condition
 
Mostly in good condition with good areas no damage. One piece has been heavily quilted so you see heavy quilt lines and some distressed areas. Other pieces will show a small hole here and there. 
 
Some variation in color due to age and still show light soiling which would probably come up with a deeper clean but leaving that up to the discretion of the customer. For us it's important to preserve the aged look. 
 
The fabrics have been given a long cold water soak to remove dust and dirt and then lightly laundered in cold water using those famous Marseille soaps without bleaching agents.
 
It is our aim to deliver a clean and pressed product when possible. We take care to preserve the color and integretity of the fabric since many of our fabrics our used for reproduction.
