A 19th century French printed cotton fabric. Depcting flroals and leaves in shades of red to pink, turquoise and shades and light brown against a brown background. 
 
Full repeat.

1 meter 21 cm  from top to bottom 
 
The width is 
 
50 cm wide (still has the selvage at the right hand side)
 
*actually four smaller pieces of the same fabric hand seamed together  narrow strips at the right hand side.  
 
Condition
 
Quilted at one time so you will see traces of quilt lines. A few larger holes at top and bottom and down one side. Several smaller holes here and there with some thin areas. Variation in background color due to quilting and age. 
 
Good small sections without damage but best suited only for small projects or documentation. 
 
The fabric has been given a very long cold water soak to remove dust and dirt and then a gentle wash in cold water with those famous Marseille soaps without bleaching agents. 
 
It is our aim to deliver and clean and pressed product when possible but take great care to preserve the original color and the integretity of the fabric.
