1 meter 78 cm from top to bottom

The width is

85 cm wide (still shows a part of the selvage at the right hand side)

Condition

Small holes at top edge. The upper half of the panel is in good condition and the first two peacock motifs in good useable condition with just a couple of thin areas. Lower half of the fabric shows some smaller holes in the peacocks with a larger hole at the bottom peacock. In addition, there is one dark stain towards the bottom which can be seen in the photos. Quilted at one time so you will see traces of quilt lines. Colors are good, strong and even.

The fabric has been given a cold water soak to remove dust and dirst and then a light light laundering using those famous Marseille soaps without bleaching agents.

It is our aim to preserve and protect the orginal colors of the fabric since many of our fabrics are being currently reproduced.
