A 19th century French quilt fragment.. Cotton. Fabrics front and back.
 
Front fabric a block print repeat of a star design in light blue against a brown background.
 
Back fabric shows two different fabrics in light brown and dark brown.
 
Some lovely hand stitching. Thin piece of batting between the two layers of fabric.
 
Photos are a good represenation of actual color and condition.

Condition
 
Overall good condition with a good appearance. There are a few small holes up to one corner and a few at the opposite corner. Two light stains towards one side. Please note that the front fabric is actually two pieces of the same fabric hand stitched together. The smaller strip is a darker shade in color.
