An early 19th century French block/roll print fabric. Finely woven cotton. So typical in color and style of so many of the the antique fabrics from the provence. Bands of stylized leaves that alternate with bands of stylized leafy branches. Predominant colors are a reddish brown and mustard yellow with accent colors in green and red.

Condition
Distressed with larger holes and some missing areas along the top and center. Smaller holes and thin areas in the rest of the fabric. Some small areas without damage that could be used as patches.
Best suited for small projects or documentation. Color are good, strong and even.
The fabric has been giving a light soak to remove dust and dirt using those famous Marseille soaps without bleaching agents. We like to delivery a clean and pressed product when possbile but take care to preserve the integretity and color of the fabric.
