A 19th century French cotton roll/block print fabric. Repeating solid bands that alternate with bands of a broken branch design. A popular motif during this period. Colors are a natural reddish brown with creme and white.

Condition
 
Quilted at one time so shows signs of quilt lines.
 
Large splits and holes of mostly one corner area from top to half way down the fabric. Smaller holes here and there. The bottom half is in better condition with some good areas without damage. Colors have a fairly even appearance but have faded with time and there still shows signs of soiling and some small stains.
 
Best suited for small projects or documentation.
 
The fabric has been giving a light soak to remove dust and dirt using those famous Marseille soaps without bleaching agents. Leaving a deeper clean up to the discretion of the customer. We like to delivery a clean and pressed product when possbile but take care to preserve the integretity and color of the fabric.
