Large panel of finely woven cotton with a printed design. Light weight. French in origin. Probably dates from the 1920's Repeating design of carnations on leafy stems. 
 
Muted colors with a light greyish background and motifs in blueish grey leaves and blossoms in old pink to shades of lavender tones.

Condition
 
Used with some large holes along the top edge. Thin spots and small holes along one selvage edge. A couple of other very small holes with a couple of thin spots. Lightly quilted at one time. 
 
Most of the fabric in good useable conditon. 
 
The fabric has been given a lond cold water soak and long cold water wash using those famous Marseille soaps without bleaching agents. 
 
It is our aim to preserve the color and the integrety of the fabric since many of our fabrics are being reposed.
