A 19th century French toile du jouy. Cotton. Shades of blue with a white background. I believe the piece may have been used as a tieback at one time. Depicts some partial figures but mostly foilage with a few florals.

Measurements
 
3 meters 35 cm in length x 8.5 cm wide. 
There is a hem at one side so if you unstitched it you would gain 2 cm in width. 
 
*actually 4 pieces hand seamed together. 
 
Condition
 
Left in "as found" condition. One small hole. Some soiling which would probably lift with a good soaking and cold water wash.
