Highly distressed 19th century French cotton block print fabric. Abstract motifs that look somewhat like stylized florals with small oval motifs in between. 
 
Colors are a natural red, dark brwon and a light brown background. 
 
Full repeat but missing pieces.

Condition
 
Left in "as found" condition and not laundered. Good clean appearance for the most part with one light stain at one corner. You may want to give the fabric and cold water soak and a cold water wash to remove in dust.
 
Colors strong and even. 
 
Highliy distressed with many large and small holes throughout and many thin areas and missing pieces. Quilted at one time so you will seee traces of quilt lines. A good size patch made with the same material.
