Entirely hand embroidered this 19th century wool shawl. Made in Indian and possibly for the French market. Paisley motifs in deep natural red, light blue, black and a bit of yellow. 
 
 Overal photos were difficult to take of actual color. Close up photos are the best indication of actual color.

Condiion
 
Left in as found condition. Been in storage for a long time and could use a freshening up. 
 
Very good condition with good even colors. No stains. The only thing to note is that the center of the shawl has a small weak spot and someone at some time has hand stitched a very large patch (much larger than the weak spot) to the back to protect the the weaked area.
