A 19th century French cotton block print fabric. Repeating circle and oval design with tiny abstract motis in between. Colors are madder red, light blue, white and brown.

Condition
 
Distressed with many medium sized and smaller holes throughout as well as thin areas. 
 
Colors are fairly consistant but show slight variations due to use and age. Quilted at one time so you will see light traces of quilt lines. 
 
The fabric has been given a cold water soak to remove dust and dirst and then a light light laundering using those famous Marseille soaps without bleaching agents. 
 
It is our aim to preserve and protect the orginal colors of the fabric since many of our fabrics are being currently reproduced.
