Beautiful pattern in this 19th century French provencal scarf. Block print. Cotton. Heart like shaped motifs with tiny florals and leaves around the sides. Stylized branches and leaves in between with some micro picotage work. Colors are rosy red to soft shades of pink against an off white background. 
 
All edges of the scarf have been rolled under and hand stitched.

Condition
 
Left in "as found" condition. Good clean appearance but you may want to give the scarf a cold water soak and cold water hand wash to remove any dust. 
 
One tiny break at one edge and a tiny split just up from the break. For the rest the scarf is in very good condition with no stains. Colors are strong and even.
