One of my passions and love grouping pieces together.

This large 19th century French bois dore element. Wood with plaster and paint overlay. Base color dark brownish gold with highlights in a lighter gold. Depicts two large scrolled motifs with a stemmed flower at one side. Inside the larger scroll motif with a darkish black color you can see traces of hand painted leafy branches.

A few tiny white paint drops that can be removed. Large chip in the plaster on the large scroll motif. Probably a piece missing at one end where the wood is exposed. Other small chips here and there
