A 19th century French cotton block print fabric. Ornate oval shaped motifs decorated with small florals and leaves. 
 
Colors are madder red, yellow, blue and white. 
 
Full repeat but missing pieces. 
 
Photos are a good representation of actual color and condition.

Condition
 
Very distressed with many large and small holes as well as thin areas thoughout the fabric. 
 
Colors fairly consistant but do vary slightly due to age, use and quilting. No obvious stains. 
 
The fabric has been given a cold water soak to remove dust and dirst and then a light light laundering using those famous Marseille soaps without bleaching agents. 
 
It is our aim to preserve and protect the orginal colors of the fabric since many of our fabrics are being currently reproduced.
