Beautiful 19th century French cotton block print fabric. Larger motis of tylized blossoms and leaves mixed with long stylzied leafy branches and small florals. 

 

Colors are light bue, white and madder red with a golden olive colored background. 

 

Full repeat.

Condition

 

Distressed with many large and small holes as well as thin areas throughout.  Lightly quilted at one time so you will see light traces of quilt lines. 

 

Colors good and strong.

 

The fabric has been given a cold water soak to remove dust and dirst and then a light light laundering using those famous Marseille soaps without bleaching agents. 

 

It is our aim to preserve and protect the orginal colors of the fabric since many of our fabrics are being currently reproduced.
