A 19th century French cotton block/roll print. Repeating pattern of a rose and bud on the stem with a cornflower to the side. Alternating bands of a stripe and dot pattern in the background.  Photos are a good indication of actual color and condition.

Measurements

1 meter 42 cm from top to bottom

The width is

76 cm wide (still has the selvage along one side)

Condition

Fabric must have had a large hem in it at one time and shows two lines of discoloration at the hem line. One darker one light just above it. A couple of tiny age spot. Background color has aged a bit and would probably lighten with a deeper cleaning. Two small holes at the middle of the fabric and a couple of small holes towards one bottom corner. For the rest most of the fabric is in good useable condition.

The fabric has aged with time showing some yellowing which will undoubtedly lift with a good soaking but leaving this up to the discretion of the buyer. We have many customers who desire this "aged" look for authentic vintage projects or reproducing.
