A 19th century French cotton block print fabric. Repeating larger motifs of cornucopia filled with small florals and leaves. In between motis of wheat stock with vines of small florals and leaves. Colors are terracotta, corn yellow and white with white picotage work that outlines the motifs. Indigo blue background. 

 

Full repeat but missing pieces.

Condition

 

Left in "as found" condition. 

 

Overall clean appearance with no obvious stains. Not laundered. You may want to give a cold water soak and wash to remove any dust and to freshen. 

 

Distressed with a few larger and many small holes bottom half of fabric. Top half of the fabric in better condition but still many small holes. 

 

Colors in the motifs are strong and even. Background indigo blue color shows slight variations in color due to age and quilting  but has a fairly even appearance. Also please note one of the corners has a curve to it which can be seen in the photos.
