An early 19th century Frenh cotton block print fabric. Partial florals and leaves down one side with a stylized ribbon design down the other side. Colors are predominantly rosey natural reds with mint green against a beige colored background. Appears to have been part of a border at one time.

Condition
 
Distressed with large and small holes along the sides. Heavily quilted at one time so you will see heavy quilt lines. Still shows dark soiling from age and use which may lift with a deeper cleaning. 
 
The fabric has been given a cold water soak to remove dust and dirst and then a light light laundering using those famous Marseille soaps without bleaching agents. 
 
It is our aim to preserve and protect the orginal colors of the fabric since many of our fabrics are being currently reproduced.
