A mid 1800's French cotton block print fabric. Distressed. Finely woven cotton. Repeating pattern of larger groups of florals and leaves with smaller grouds of florals and leaves. Some beautiful picotage work in the background with scrolls and birds. 
 
Full repeat but missing pieces. 
 
Colors are predominantly rosey red, pink, shades of brown and mint. White background.

Condition
 
Distressed with many large and small holes. Some light staining and age spots in the background color which may come up with a deeper cleaning if desired. 
 
Colors fairly strong and even. 
 
The fabric has been given a long cold water soak to removed dust and dirt using those famous Marseille soaps without bleaching agents. 
 
It is our aim to preserve the color and the integrety of the fabrci since many of our fabrics are being reproduced.
