Lovely florals in this 19th century French cotton block print fabric. Repeating motifs of groups of roses that alternate with groups of pansies. 
 
Colors include shades of rosy red, shades of pink, lavender, aubergine and minty blue with a white background.

Condition
 
Somewhat distressed with a few larger holes and tears, a few tiny holes. Long tear along one end at the edge. Quilted at one time so you will see quilt lines. Many good size areas in good useable condition. Some tiny light stains that would probably lift with a deeper cleaning if desired. 
 
Colors are strong and even. 
 
The fabric has been given a cold water soak to remove dust and dirst and then a light light laundering using those famous Marseille soaps without bleaching agents. 
 
It is our aim to preserve and protect the orginal colors of the fabric since many of our fabrics are being currently reproduced.
