Love the simple motifs in this 19th century French cotton block print fabric. Stylized florals  in yellow against a light natural red background.

Condition
 
Somewhat distressed with two large holes just down from center and at the bottom. Many small holes and thin areas here and there. Some small areas in good condtion without damage. 
 
Colors in the motifs strong and consistant. Background color shows slight variaitons in color due to age, use and quilting but has an even appearance. No stains. 
 
The fabric has been given a cold water soak to remove dust and dirst and then a light light laundering using those famous Marseille soaps without bleaching agents. 
 
It is our aim to preserve and protect the orginal colors of the fabric since many of our fabrics are being currently reproduced.
