Always fascinated by the designs that were produced in this 19th century French cotton fabrics.

Condition
 
Distressed with some large holes at the side edges. Many small holes and thin areas throughout the fabric. Qulited at one time so you will see traces of quilt lines. Slight variations in color due to age, use and quilting but an even appearance. 
 
The fabric has been giving a long cold water soak to remove dust and dirt and a long cold water wash using those famous Marseille soaps without bleaching agents. 
 
It is our aim to preserve the colors and the integretity of the fabric since many of our fabrics are being reproduced.
