A 19th century French cotton block print fabric. Repeating motifs of stylized blossoms and paisley with small florals and picotage work. Colors are madder red, yellow and white against a dark indigo blue background.

Condition
 
Left in "as found" condition. Not laundered. You may want to give the fabric a cold water soak and cold water to wash to lift any dust. 
 
Somewhat distressed with a coupleof medium size holes and many small holes here and there throughout and a faded area towards one end. Also smaller areas of the fabric in good condition without damage that would be suitable for small projects. Quilted at one time so you will see traces of quilt lines. 
 
Other than the faded spot colors are good, strong and even.
