A 19th century French cotton distressed fabric. Abstract tiny wiggly design in light brown against a darker brown background.

The width is 

 

30.5 cm wide at the widest points

 

*please not actually two pieces of the same fabric hand seamed together with the seam running from top to bottom. Selvage can be seen at the seam. 


Condition

 

Distressed with many larger holes, many many small holes and thin areas throughout. Corner section missing out of one end which can be seen int the photos. Colors vary slightly due to age, use and quilting. 

 

The fabric has been given a cold water soak to remove dust and dirst and then a light light laundering using those famous Marseille soaps without bleaching agents. 

 

It is our aim to preserve and protect the orginal colors of the fabric since many of our fabrics are being currently reproduced.
