A 19th century French cotton roll/block print fabric. Simple repeating acorn shaped design in a reddish brown against a creme colored background.

Condition
 
Distressed and aged look with ackground color still shows some yellowing and some age spots even after it's cold water soak and cold water wash. One small tear at one side. You can see some hand made eyelets at one end of the fabric. 
 
Colors in the motifs good, strong and even. 
 
The fabric has been given a cold water soak to remove dust and dirst and then a light light laundering using those famous Marseille soaps without bleaching agents. 
 
It is our aim to preserve and protect the orginal colors of the fabric since many of our fabrics are being currently reproduced.
