A 19th century French cotton distressed fabric. Printed design or excotic looking florals and what looks a bit like long corn shaped rasberries. Colors are a bit of red and pink with shades of brown against a tan colored background.

Full repeat.

Photos are a good representation of actual color and condition.

Measurements

1 meter 32 cm from top to bottom

54 cm wide (still shows a bit of the selvage at one side)

Condition

Distressed with several small holes here and there throughout as well as some thin areas. Quilted at one time so you will see traces of quilt lines. Still shows some light even soiling throughout from age and use which would probably lift with a deeper cleaning if desired.

The fabric has been given a cold water soak to remove dust and dirst and then a light light laundering using those famous Marseille soaps without bleaching agents.

It is our aim to preserve and protect the orginal colors of the fabric since many of our fabrics are being currently reproduced.
